We all have an idea of what we find beautiful but can you be honest and say that you find beauty outwith media?  When you look at your favourite film star or other celebrity do you think they're hot because of their look in films and magazines or have you seen them without make-up, without airbrushing and still think they're stunning?

A huge problem with the world today is the perception that impressionable young minds are given of what is beauty.  So many magazines promote beauty as being flawless.  Blemish free skin, bodies without a bump, without flaw.  Let's take a look at this think which shows a certain fashion designers idea of 'perfection'.  Filippa Hamilton.

Fortunately there was an outcry about this and the company was forced to apologise.

Today I am going to share with you a video which I think should be shared with everyone, particularly people who know teenagers and young adults who feel pressured to look a certain way.  This video is short but has a deep impact.

This should be required viewing for all teens and young adults. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=r31cXWt_ndA&feature=popular

Please share this video with others.  Let them know that blemishes are natural, that having a stomach is natural.  Humans come in every different size and shape and colours.  That's what makes us unique.

Much love,

Gemma
